i had the aa out for my sintra only for him to tell me that the sensor that tells the engine the temp of the car is faulty,so the engine thinks the car is always cold and is pushing to much petrol to the engine can anyone tell me the name of the sensor i need to replace

I have one of these and it is quite reliable, but here in the UK they are not very common vehicles and spares are expensive. They also seem to have some strange problems. There is a noise from the front, possibly from a wheel bearing, which goes if you turn the wheel slightly, and a slight judder from the rear brakes at speed. Neither is too serious and it goes fine. I have asked a couple of garages and they say not to worry, these are normal for a Sintra and it will go on for a long while before anything goes seriously wrong.. The price of a new front hub is very high in the UK £180-200. (300-340 Euros) What is the price in Europe? Are the workshops right about the faults?
"My dad always said if you hear a noise fix it before it leads two something else. Are it breaks down when you in need of the car, there are a bunch of reasons not to put something off. The Garage's you have went to are wrong. Get them to trouble shoot your problem and order your part online. Any good Garage can do so are you can find another. Before you are walking!"
I have a 1997 Vauxhall Sintra 3.0V6 with auto gearbox.every morning i start it up,put it into gear and it goes into safe mode.basically it sticks in 3rd gear and a light on the dash flashes.after a few minutes running i can turn off and restart and its fine.does anyone know what could be causing this?thankyou
