i am an environmental activist here in pokhara, lakeside ,nepal.which is averybeautiful city and many tourist come here to visit every year.wehave a lake here too.therefore i wouldliketo keep dolphins i n his lake, which wouldbe good both for environment of the pokhara and econony of the city too.and also welcome to the volunteerswho want to work with us like teaching, pooverty eduction, population control and othe awareness prrogrrame .

evangelionDude :
"I always have dreams about swimming with dolphins…. Just wanted to share that… You think I could put some in my swimming pool?"
sg1alias :
"Dolphins need to be in salt water and in most countries it's illegal to get close to a dolphin. I doubt you have the right kind of fish and it's probably too cold. And there are more reports of dolphins attacking people than sharks. Or do you mean the fish kind of dolphin like the mahi mahi. Then I don't care go right ahead they are used for food anyway (the mahi mahi fish not the mammal)."
Soren Riise :
"It this the place? Dolphins are mainly salt water animals -- so not you cannot put them in a lake. I don't know why you would consider them to be an environmental benefit -- what do they do to the environment that you think is needed in the lake? In most places it is even illegal to import non-native species -- reason being that non-native species causes an in-balance in the ecosystem -- so no -- don't even think about it....."

The Annapurna Circuit is the most popular trek in Nepal. The entire trek lasts three weeks from start to finish, weather permitting. Most trekkers begin the trek out of Pokhara (about five hours outside of Kathmandu). From there one must obtain an easy-to-process permit in order to spend more than one night on the circuit.
