i am planning to go for a holiday to the country ZAMBIA to the city LUSAKA. planninto go for 4 months.. NOT A ONE WAY TICKET! but a return ticket..planning to go any time in november onwards, dont mind going in december as well if i find a cheaper deal.. most preferred airways is british airways, but dont mind others. please help..

shoe s :
"nope you have to fly southafrican airways i went to that town BORING"
kyeshla1 :
"You may find it cheaper to fly somewhere larger first like Johannesburg then connect to Lusaka. I used travelocity last year, was the best price I could find at the time and allowed multistop trips which I couldn't do on the others. Flew to Johannesburg with Virgin, went overland up to Livingstone in Zambia, then flew back to Johannesburg with Zambia's airline- Nationwide Air. I think you can fly Johannesburg to Lusaka with them as well- their foods much better than Virgin! If you get then chance take a flight to Livingstone (its not that much I don't think) and spend a few days if you've not been there before- White water rafting down Batoka Gorge is very scary but worth a go. Have fun whatever you do!"
Kathy M :
"For your best travel rates: all major airlines, hotels car rentals etc good luck!! They are wholesale rates! Should be helpful, have a good trip"
raji r :

any flights flying from lusaka,Zambia to delhi,India and the fare in dollars.

triggerhappy :
"Probably, but dont they always come to the UK first just in case anyone wants to get off!"
law.wire :
"Not at present."
dmay :
"No, hardly any demand (not enough people going between there). Also their fleet is stretched thin, so they wouldn't waste it on a route like that with hardly any traffic."
tSk :
"You will have to go for a connecting flight either Lufthansa or British Airways or Air France......... Regards t$k"
Bambi M :

In Zambia's hardest hit slums, education for many children – along with hope for their future – ends at the seventh-grade level. Yet in makeshift classrooms springing up in abandoned homes, local churches or empty community centers, children once left with few opportunities are getting the change to learn again.

Teaching at an American International school in a foreign country has many benefits. One is that you are exposed to interesting people who do interesting things. Ed (an alias to protect my source), who is a parent of two students at our school, the American International School of Lusaka, Zambia, was on leave from his job in Iraq...

Around one million Zambians - 16% of the population - are believed to have HIV/Aids, a fact marked by World Aids Day on Saturday. After experts from the United Nations backed male circumcision as a way of reducing the chances of getting HIV, the BBC's reporter in Zambia's capital Lusaka, Kennedy Gondwe, decided to undergo the procedure himself.
