The Massacre of Glencoe occurred in Glen Coe, Scotland, in the early morning of 13 February 1692, during the era of the Glorious Revolution and Jacobitism. The massacre began simultaneously in three settlements along the glen—Invercoe, Inverrigan, and Achacon—although the killing took place all over the glen as fleeing MacDonalds were pursued. Thirty-seven MacDonalds from the Clan MacDonald of Glencoe were killed by the guests who had accepted their hospitality, on the grounds that the MacDonalds had not been prompt in pledging allegiance to the new king, William of Orange. A cicada nymph crawls across the ground Monday, May 14, 2007, at the Chicago Botanic garden in Glencoe, Ill. The cicada is part of Brood XIII which is expected to appear soon across northern Illinois, and in parts of Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana. Cicadas live only about 30 days as adults, and their main goal is mating.

Glencoe is a collection of 10 original compositions with a expressive world jazz fusion feel. I used a melting pot of different cultures and influences combined into an ambient musical adventure. I play all the lead keyboard parts with no overdubs to keep musical continuity. Recorded at Latch Music Studios in 1999 and re-mastered in 2006.
