I have been trying to get a copy of the Cry Freetown documentary. there used to be a link to purchase from. But this link seems to be inoperative now. Anyone know where I can buy it or get bootleg copy?

I know the history of Freetown, Sierra Leone I am just wondering if Black Americans or even Black Nova Scotians are aware that the Creole people of Western Area of Freetown, Sierra Leone are of the same ancestry as them. No I am not from Freetown I am from Rochester, New York...I was only trying to educate people on these facts..I am of Creole descent however and my own ancestors were African American slaves Freetown was also the first place to give African American men and women the chance to vote in 1790s. This is unbelievable considering slavery was abolished in 1865!

Gravy B :
"I'm a white guy, and I didn't even know that. Thanks for the knowledge."
Dat Fool :
"Man, that's a long way for the African Armada to swim."
DJH :
"I didnt know that..Are you from Freetown.."
the answer :
"yep! and the first lady of liberia is of american descent or shall i say american negro heritage"
juliejuliejulie :
"Oh how smug you are. White Americans don't know where Nova Scotia is - or what Nova Scotia means. Let alone Sierra Leone. Are you familiar with Monrovia and the whole Liberian exodus? This is not a good place to educate African Americans, on Yahoo Answers they are too busy defending themselves against white lardbuckets."
kdanielle86 :
"thanx for the history lesson...u get a star."
texashotgirl3000 :
"No I didn't, but I do now."
Guy J :
"I really didn't know that"
William C :
"I heard about it from somewhere, but thanks for the knowledge...I doubt that a lot of African Americans have even heard of it. Some of them are caught up with mainstream, minstrel entertainment instead of something like this."
