I'm thinkin about travelling to the Azores in the summer, they're a group of islands closer to Portugal in the Atlantic Ocean. Reccommend it?

"only once and not i was on a plane from spain to miami and this old guy starts having a heart attack... we had to land there... it sucked..okay that was my story but i don't know what is really there."
SimplyKell :
"I've been there many, many times! I definitely recommend it, I suggest you go to Terceira and Sao Miguel. Lovely beaches, great little coffee shops/nightlife, amazing weather, great for much more!! Check this out: You'll have a blast! Have Fun!"
John1980 :

Does anyone know of any companies doing sailing from the azores to the uk this summer

Professor :
"I know of no one doing charters to the UK. If you are a qualified or competent sailor you might advertise in one of the UK yacht magazines to bring a boat back or to crew on a boat. Otherwise go to the Azores and see what you can pick up."
lesroys :
"Nobody offers crewed yacht charters to the Azores from the UK. You could probably do a bareboat charter and hire a crew yourself. There are lots of charters available once you get to the Azores, though."

Swimming with dolphins in the Azores? I want to take my girlfriend on a romantic last minute holiday for her birthday in a few weeks time. I saw this last minute deal on a website where you could go swimming with dolphins in the Azores. I'm thinking of booking it cos she loves dolphins but I wanted some opinions- does anyone know what are the chances of seeing dolphins and whales in the Azores? has anyone been to the Azores? What's it like? I've never really heard much about it. Did you see dolphins? Is there other cool stuff to do in the evenings?
