What is the best easy -moderate hike in Arches during August?

coloclone :
"It's going to be hot.... If you didn't want to pay to get in the park the Corona Arch trail is right outside Moab and it's a way fun hike and the Arch is breathtaking.... I think it's like a mile and a half each way... The first part is a little steep but after that its all slickrock fun."

"August is a very hot time of year to be visiting Arches NP. I strongly recommend that you limit your hiking to the morning and late afternoon / early evening hours. Wear a wide brim hat and carry a lot of water. If I had to choose one hike to do, I would pick Delicate Arch in the late afternoon. It’s going to be warmer than in the early morning but the lighting conditions for photos are much better. It’s a moderate 3 mile roundtrip hike. If you have a fear of heights, the approach to the arch may prevent you from getting any closer than 50 yards. If 3 miles is too long for you I suggest you go to the Windows Section of the park. There you’ll find short trails to Double Arch, Turret Arch, North and South Windows. There’s also a short hike around Balance Rock. Have fun and stay cool."

"It is located in eastern Utah. It is special that it has over 2,000 natural arches. (Nearby Canyonlands also has a few.)"

"Arches is found in Moab, UT. Mostly wind erosion formed the arches. The rock is all sandstone and siltstone, ancient dunes that once covered that area. The source material for those ancient dunes was the ancestral Rockies that have long been eroded away. There are over 2000 arches located within the park boundries, some with names like Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch. Highly recommend going there somepoint in life."

Mama Gretch :
"Arches National Park is outside of Moab, Utah, in the east central part of the state. Wind and water formed the arches over many centuries of weather and water receding from the land. Sandstone is the predominant rock and is very vulnerable to erosion, which is why the arches were formed. Check out the website below from the National Park Service for brief descriptions of the geology. I've been there numerous times and it's my favorite National Park in the U.S.!"

Icons like Delicate Arch, Yosemite Falls and a Sequoia are shown as blueprints to remind us if our national parks continue to receive limited Federal funding, "It's not like we can make more."Created for the National Parks Conservation Association by Y&R Chicago.

Arches National Park boasts both Landscape Arch, the largest natural rock arch in the world, and Delicate Arch, which has been featured on the Utah license plate, it’s that famous. If you’re in the ’hood (eastern Utah – or maybe you’re driving on I-70 on your way to or from Colorado…), drop in. You can see it in a day.

I really need to get make a trip to the southwest and see these places in person. Photos aren't free, but still amazing enough that it is worth taking a look.
