Kelly P :

ashmo :
"Adelaide has a population of around 1.2 million people, smaller than other capital cities such as Sydney or Melbourne. If you're coming to Adelaide in January, it will be the middle of summer here, so temperatures will be between 27 C to up to 40 C (80-104 F). Being 14 years old, you will probably want to head into the city centre, especially Rundle Mall if you like shopping. Also, beaches such as Glenelg with its many many shops and great teenage atmosphere may be of interest. There are a lot of young people in Adelaide, all very friendly. If you will be attending school here I think you will find it very easy to settle in; Australian schoolchildren are very easygoing and tolerant of newcomers. Sport is also a large part of South Australian culture, such as AFL, cricket and basketball, so you should definitely try to catch a game or two while you are here. Adelaide is a beautiful city, there are hundreds of wonderful sights, and I can guarantee you will enjoy your time here."
iansand9876 :
"Adelaide is relatively close to the desert. Not a good idea in January, but towards the end of your stay head north and experience the outback.."
tusoo :
"for a 14yo...i think adelaide will be very boring for you. there isnt much entertainment. but since its january...it'll be mid-summer, so the beach may be fun, but it will be packed! the shopping is alright, but there arent many places for you to shop though. There is Harbour Town, Rundle Mall, Marion, TTP and Norwook..i suppose. Adelaide is very quiet, so if you are looking to relax, Adelaide is perfect for you! There are lots of parks and greenery, so u can enjoy the peacefulness. The population is very multicultural, nice and simple."
pixie :
"it's festival season in adelaide around feb & march. V8 supercars, art festival, fringe festival. search those and it will give you a few things to do."
Big Kev :

I think Adelaide can match it with the best and if their kicking for goals were straighter(this is their downfall) Adelaide would be in the top 4. I think Adelaide are contenders and will hopefully shake the finals.

kick_it_again :
"I have no f#cking idea what your on about but if i am going to try get you in my bed i best pretend!! Definatly contenders !!!! so how bout it ?"
They Call Me Parrrrrrrrrris :
"sorry big Kev you are very one eyed they have no hope, they had there chance the last few years and chocked"
Pennypitstop :
"I don't think they'll do the GF, but I sure hope they do some damage to the pies next week"
gfcbarracker :
"I wouldn't think so Big Kev. Too many games this year with McLeod being the Lone Ranger and no Tonto available for the Crows, one man side like Carey sometimes with North back in the 90's. I agree with Pennypitstop. I hope they cause major problems for Collingwood next week."
Stephanie C :
"We have every hope in the world, the crows can do it, we did it in 97 and 98, i would much rather see a non victorian team win it except for west coast eagles!!!!!!!!!!"
Ashleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey :
"I think they are a good enough team, but I don't think a team out of the top 4 have a really good chance of winning, it's a lot to ask, but it would be great if we finally had that to give other teams hope later on."
Kristythegreat :
"CONTENDERS !! they just need to get there aims right ."
FORKY :
"won't get a home final so id say pretenders, too many sides firing and the crows aren't one of them,i think this year they would be just making up the numbers-sorry big Kev"
the man :
"Pretenders. They'll be lucky to make the finals, and if they do should be bundled out in the first week. Their best two players are underdone (Roo and Rutten) and they can't rely on McLeod, who sits off the play to get easy possessions when it comes to finals. It is the tough in and under sides like West Coast, Nth Melb, Hawthorn and Geelong who will make it to the GF."
dale_thomas_ishott :
"evan collingwood won against them at AMMI and hopefully will win on friday night GO DA PIEZZZ"
craignlee24499 :
"Pretenders."
Matt :
"Big Kev, i know your a crows supporter, and i wish your boys well. However, I think the Crows are more of a threat when you play at home. You can still make it into the 8 and i hope you beat Collingwood on the weekend. I'd prefer your chances as a top 4 side. If I was a Crows supporter and you make finals ........ i'd be praying that you play the Power in the first final as it will be in the back yard. With that sort of lead up to a SA Derby who knows what could happen."
Richo Fev :
"Well they are playing some pretty good footy, and they have won from outside the top 4 before. Hopefully they beat the Pies on Friday, and we`ll see. They are capable of winning a final or 2, but the big one, i dont think so."
daryne p :
"Adelaide have big names who have missed through injury and are rested unlike the other clubs who have players that have played all year and are tired and carrying little injuries - The one thing they have is to do it for ROO! They have so much going for them - dont worry about goal kicking, that will take care of itself - its the umpires that have hurt us - last in free kicks received! All being fair and equal if it were a victorian club who had to endure shocking umpiring displays they would risk the 10,000 dollar fine and BLAST them for their AMATEURISH umpiring"
conda :
"Great defence. Maybe if you meet Port in a prelim and make it through then who knows what can happen. Don't think it will though - not enough points in you."
Katie T :
"Hi hun, I think your team needs more wins. They have been struggling but for the hawks. We are in the finals after thrashing Dan's team (West Bulldogs) :)"
NiC :

I'm after the title and artist of this song and I only have a few lyrics for it and despite searching high and low I cannot find it anywhere! I'm guessing that the song was written by someone from Adelaide, SA and I've heard it on Nova but keep missing the name and artist. The lyrics I currently have are: Just a simple boy from little old Adelaide, Let me sing my song to you, When I go away I'm thinking of Adelaide.

Star :
"Straight To The Ace - Adelaide I'll be calling to you; you'll be calling to me That's the first thing I know will be forever. Can a boy like me ever follow his dreams until the end? That's the first thing I don't know. I don’t know. I'm a simple boy from little old Adelaide Let me sing my song to you. When I go away I'll be thinking of Adelaide And the times I've spent with you. With you. I'll be seeing new things I'll be breathing it in Now the next thing I must do I know is to find you. I don't know what it means life is not what it seems. Will it end? Or has it just begun? I don't know. I'm a simple boy from little old Adelaide Let me sing my song to you. When I go away I'll be thinking of Adelaide And the times I've spent with you. With you. I don't know... I'm a simple boy from little old Adelaide Let me sing my song to you. I'm a simple boy from little old Adelaide Let me sing my song to you. When I go away I'll be thinking of Adelaide And the times I've spent with you. With you. I'm a simple boy from little old Adelaide Let me sing my song to you.
